Johnson, Ronald Joseph

Ronald Johnson, 88, of Oconto Falls, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. He was born Aug. 31, 1927 to Elmer and Marjorie Johnson. He worked on his grandparent's farm until he went in the Army during the Korean War. He married Elsie Skenandore Oct. 24, 1959 in Menasha. He worked for the railroad and various jobs throughout his life. He was very active with the Veterans and loved being in the parades. He married his second wife Pepper Shepard May 7, 1994. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling, but most of all spending time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Pepper; his five kids, Rose Wittock, Christine Johnson, Virginia Franks and Tom Thelen, Kerry and Paul Westenberger and John Johnson and Summer Homa; and 13 grandkids; and 18 great-grandkids.

Ronald is now in Heaven spending time with his past loved ones telling all his stories. We love you and will see you again when the good Lord calls us to be with you.

Friends may call at 1 PM March 5, 2016 at Oconto Gospel Chapel in Oconto on Michigan Street with services and a luncheon to follow.
