Raymond Hooper, 62, R1 of
Oconto Falls, passed away at his home at 6 pm Tuesday evening. Death
was unexpected.
Mr. Hooper was born January 1, 1898 at Bondel. He was carpenter and farmer in the area for the past 13 years. He was married April 3, 1935 to Gertrude Skarda who survives.
Friends may call after 2 o’clock today (Thursday) at the Steffen Funeral Home, Lena. Final rites will be held at the funeral home Friday at 2 pm with Rev. C.V. Dawson officiating. Interment will be in the Spruce cemetery.
Survivors besides his wife are
a son Ronald, a student at the University of Wisconsin; one brother, Roy
Hooper of Pontiac, Michigan and four sisters, Mrs. E. Bjorkman, Seattle,
Wash., Mrs. E. Gorski, Chicago; Mrs. H. Meetz, Green Bay and Mrs. J. Kunie
of Coleman.
