Born in 1865 in Ontario, Canada, Mr. Hall became well known through the middle west for his musical abilities, appearing as a concert violinist leading and organizing bands and choruses in Michigan, South Dakota and Wisconsin. In 1921 he was honored by the University of Wisconsin as a farm and community leader and his picture was placed in the hall of agriculture.
Mr. Hall has been the inspiration for many young people to really accomplish something with their musical talent. This alone endeared him to many. The last time he played in Oconto Falls was at an Easter tea at the ME church about five or six years ago.
