Riley Hagman

Riley Hagman, age 16, 607 Main Street, Oconto died on June 16, 2000 as a result of an automobile accident.

The son of Dennis and Marge Hagman was born on May 7, 1984. He was an honor student at Oconto High School where he participated in football, and basketball. He enjoyed deer hunting and golfing. Riley strove to help others through math tutoring and ministry work. He was very active in Oconto Gospel Chapel Student Ministries, and wanted to become a Youth Minister.

Besides his parents, Riley is survived by his sister, Atalie, Grandmother Inga Hagman of Superior; Grandmother Norma Rickert of Elgin, IL; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many treasured friends.

The family received relatives and friends at Oconto Gospel Chapel, 251 Michigan Avenue, Oconto from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, June 18, 2000. The funeral service for Riley was held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 19, at Oconto Senior High School, 1717 Superior Avenue, Oconto. The Rev. Robert Schut and the Rev. Matt Genos officiated. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Oconto.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the Oconto Gospel Chapel, 251 Michigan ,Avenue, Oconto, Wisconsin 54153. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Ackerman Funeral Directors (920) 834-3028.
