Richard F. Naniot, 58, Green Bay, died unexpectedly, Thursday, March 21, 2002. The son of Ruth (Young) and the late Shyrl Naniot was born November 10, 1943, in Green Bay. He was a 1962 graduate of Oconto Falls High School. Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served aboard the aircraft carrier USS Constellation during the Vietnam War. On October 12, 1968, he married the former Nyla Jahnke in Oconto Falls. He worked at Procter & Gamble in Green Bay since 1968. Richard was also active in the family business, Green Acres Stable. He was a staunch supporter of the Republican Party of Brown County. He enjoyed traveling and working with the family business.

Survivors include his wife, Nyla; three sons, Michael Naniot, Green Bay; David Naniot, De Pere; Daniel Naniot, Green Bay; his mother, Ruth Naniot, Oconto Falls; two sisters, Karen (Ivan) Kimberlain, Oconto Falls; Julianne (Ewald) Rusch, Oconto Falls; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Marshall and Arnita Jahnke, Krakow; his brother-in-law, James (Penny) Van Donsel, Monroe; his sister-in-law, Carolyn (Mark) Van Donsel, Krakow; his nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Shyrl Naniot; an infant niece, Marie Van Donsel; several aunts and uncles.

Friends called at St. John's Lutheran Church, Morgan after 5 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service was conducted 7 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at the church. Pastor Paul Heykes officiating. Burial in Morgan Cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, assisted the family.
