Mrs. Rosella B. Balza, 88, of Green Bay, formerly 212 Reimer Ave. died Monday November 29, 1999 at a local nursing home. She was born on September 8, 1911 in Suring to the late Martin and Mary Erickson. Rosella married Lloyd Balza Sr. on July 21, 1930 in Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death on October 5, 1992. She loved playing cards and enjoyed listening to the Statler Brothers.

Survivors include one son, Gary (Eleanore) Balza, Green Bay; three grandchildren, Richard Balza Green Bay, Cathleen Balza and her special friend, John Frisque, Green Bay, Tracina Balza and her special friend Dan Conway, Abrams; three great grandchildren Tammy and Brian Balza, Brandon Walsh; one great-great grandchild, Megan Rasmussen; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by one son and daughter-in-law Lloyd Jr. and Dolores Balza; one grandchild, Elizabeth. Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St. form 4-8 p.m. Thursday. Visitation will continue at First United Church of Christ, 509 S. Webster Ave., from 10 a.m. Friday until time of the funeral. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev. Robert Laubenstein officiating. Entombment at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
