Robert "Bob" C. Boswell, 51, Oconto Falls, died suddenly Monday afternoon, June 26, 2000 while fishing with his brother in Shawano County.

He was born November 1, 1948 in Manitowoc to John and June (Riebe) Boswell. As a teenager Bob moved with his family to Oconto Falls where he graduated from high school with the class of 1968. Upon graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. Following his discharge from service, Bob moved back to Oconto Falls and became a school bus driver for the Oconto Falls School District, a position he has held the past 27 years. He was a member of the Oconto Falls American Legion Post No. 302. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to rummage sales and auctions.

Survivors are his parents, John and June Boswell, Madison; three brothers, David (Sandra) Boswell, Oconto Falls; John II (Lynne) Boswell, Milwaukee; Dell Boswell, Arizona; one sister, Kathy (Dan) Johnson, Madison; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael, on August 4, 1996.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Funeral services were held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Patricia DeGroot, St. Anthony's
