Roland Anthony Trepanier, 84, of Fort Atkinson, WI died December 24, 2000 at Countryside Nursing Home, Jefferson Township, WI.

Roland was born on December 17, 1916 in Oconto, WI, the son of David and Mary (Brabant) Trepanier. He lived in Milwaukee and worked as a new furniture mover for Haack's Furniture Company of Milwaukee for 20 years. He served as a sergeant in the Army during WWII. On August 15, 1959 he married Leora Werner Winter in Waukegan, IL. They moved to Fort Atkinson on November 26, 1975 and joined St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Cambridge, WI.

Survivors include Roland's wife Leora of Fort Atkinson; one son, Roger (Cindy) Trepanier, Washington; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; two stepchildren Joyce (William) Thayer, Fort Atkinson; Richard (Kathy) Winter, Milwaukee; 10 stepgrandchildren, 21 stepgreat-grandchildren; two brothers Lawrence (Ann) Trepanier, Clarence (Carol) Trepanier; one sister, Virginia Anson-Abbott.

Friends called on Thursday at Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI. Funeral service was conducted 1:30 p.m. Friday, December 29 at St. James Lutheran Church, Cambridge with Rev. Jeffrey Schallert officiating. Interment in Lake Ripley Cemetery, Town of Oakland.
