Phillips Infant Dies Suddenly Thursday
Rebecca Ann Phillips, six months old Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Phillips of Stiles, died unexpectedly at home early Thursday morning. She had not been ill.
The infant was born at the Oconto Falls hospital May 29th.
The body lay in states at the Sheffield funeral home until taken to St. Patrick's Church at Stiles for funeral services Saturday afternoon, conducted by the Reverend Jahn Monarsky. Burial was in the Stiles Cemetery.
Besides her parents, the infant is survived by one sister, Pamela, 18 months old, and her maternal grandfather, John Matheys, Sr., of Stiles, her mother is the former Audrey Matheys.
