James A. (Crow) Carriveau

James A. (Crow) Carriveau, 69, 147 Washburn Ave., Oconto passed away July 13, 2001 at Bay Area Medical Center.

Jim was born January 20, 1932 in the Town of Little River to Margaret (Rabe) Carriveau and the late Oliver Carriveau. He married June Stewart July 23, 1955. He owned and operated a gravel truck from 1956 to 1967. From 1967 until his retirement in 1997 he worked at Schneider Transport, Green Bay. Jim was a member of Oconto Trailbusters and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife June; his mother, Margaret Carriveau, Oconto; a daughter, Julie (Clark) Routheau and their children Jenny and Samantha, Oconto; a son, Jim (Annette) Carriveau and their children Cody and Carlee, Oconto; sister and brothers-in-law Glenore (Jim) Wilde, Oconto; Roger (Carol) Stewart, Oconto; Bill (Bonnie) Stewart, Green Bay; Bud (Pat) Stewart, Green Bay; Jon (Carol) Stewart, Oconto; Doug Stewart, King, WI; special sidekick Jesse Stewart, Oconto. Uncle Bugger will be missed by all his nieces and nephews. A sister-in-law, Joan Stewart, preceded him in death. Private family services were held Sunday at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto with Rev. C. Terry LaCombe officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery .
