Burial in Catholic Cemetery. There was no visitation. A private family service was held Wednesday at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Oconto.
Wittock was born Oct. 2, 1895, in Oconto.
He farmed and operated a sawmill in the town of Oconto most of his life.
He was employed at Holt Hardware for 18 years, at Oconto Lumber Co. for five years, and at the Green Bay Planing Co. for 25 years as a saw filer and maintenance superintendent. He retired in 1982.
He married the former Mayme Messenger Oct. 19, 1915, at the church in Oconto. She died Nov. 21, 1974. He was a member of the church.
He is survived by a son, Peter,. "Maynard", of Oconto.
A sister and two brothers died previously.
