Paul W. Brandemuehl, 91, Gillett, died peacefully in his sleep, Tuesday morning, July 10, 2001, at Sharpe Care Ltd., Oconto Falls. He was born January 16, 1910, in the Town of Gillett, to the late Fred and Anna (Nelson) Brandemuehl. Paul married his sweetheart, Marie J. Nass, on June 10, 1932. She preceded him in death September 2, 1995. He owned and operated Brandemuhel's Service Station, Gillett, for several years.

Paul is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Bernadean Kiehnau, Brown Deer; Janice Brandemuehl; Sharon (Darrell) Schindel, all of Gillett; grandchildren Randy (Christine) Schenkoske, Oconto Falls; Brian Kiehnau, Brookfield; Becky (Robert) Behnke, West Bend; Carmen (Doug) Pockat, Hintz; Dale (Erika) Schindel, Suring; Bruce (Tammbra) Kichnau, Grafton; Trisha Schindel, Gillett; four great-grandchildren; his only surviving sister, Vivian Dobner, Frankfurt, KY; sister-in-law, Helen (Brandemuehl) Perraska, Florence, WI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Paul was also preceded in death by one daughter, Gloria Schenkoske; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen (Lee) Spice; Everal and Gerald McGregor; and three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Irving (Emma); Victor; and Alvin (Geraldine).

Friends called from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Carol J. Christianson of Bethel Lutheran Church, Town of Green Valley, officiating. Interment in Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett.
