Impressive Rites
Held for P. Phalen

Patrick Phalen, aged 65, estimable pioneer resident of this county and former well known resident of Grover,. passed away on Friday afternoon at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Edward Albrecht in Marinette, following a lingering illness,

Survivors are one son, John Phalen of Chicago, brother James of Washington and sister, Mrs. Ella Pry (Brei) of Madison. His wife preceded him in death thirty five years ago.

The remains were removed to the Harper Funeral Home from where funeral services were held at 8:00 o'clock «n Monday morning nnd at 9 o'clock from St. Mary's church with the Rev, Fr. J. Szupryt officiating. The casket was carried to and from the funeral car by old time friends: Henry Chatell of Marinette, Willam Francour, Joseph Francour, Charles Francour, Theodore La Valley anc Charles Drees. Interment was held at Riverside cemetery. A number of friends attended the obsequies from Marinette and Grover. The out-of-town relatives were Mr. and Mrs. John: Phalen of Chicago and Miss Anna Thompson of Madison.
