Born Sept. 14, 1909 at Jump River to the late Mr. and Mrs. Louis (Sophia Asmus) Panetti, she married John Baughman on June 1, 1933. He preceded her in death on July 11, 1999. She was a homemaker for over 50 years, and was a member of Oconto Gospel Chapel and Little River Homemakers.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Alice) Haag of Oconto; two sons, John (Loretta) Baughman of Sequim, Wa., Richard (Marlyn) Baughman of Colorado Springs, Co.; and one grandson.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Val Baughman; a sister, Carrie Beckler; and three brothers, Walter, David and Phillip Panetti.
Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home in Oconto on Friday, May 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the Oconto Gospel Chapel from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5. Funeral services will be held at the church at 1 a.m. Pastor Bob Schut will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
