The son of Ferdinand and Margaret (Boehm) Ehlinger was born July 9,1905 at Oconto Falls. He came to Wabeno in 1936, moved to Arizona in 1963 and then lived in Amhurst, Wisconsin until 1974 when he moved back to Wabeno. He was a retired farmer, welder and carpenter. He married Dorothy Sigl on November . 27, 1930 in Seymour. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Mr. Ehlinger is survived by his wife, Dorothy; three daughters, Mrs. Louis (Mary Ann) Glentz, Alma; Mrs. Terry (Joan) Flannery, Goodman, and Mrs. Randy (Rosemary) Slacum, Salisbury, Maryland; four sons, Willard (Mary) Ehlinger, Wabeno; Merle (Alice) Ehlinger, Portland, Oregon; Raymond (Ellen) Ehlinger, Wabeno, and Gerald Ehlinger, Oshkosh; a daughter-in-law, Helen Ehlinger of Estacada, Oregon; a sister-in-law, Mary Ehlinger of Milwaukee; 42 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
