Mrs. Courtois Dead

Mrs. Louis (Polly Gravelle) Courtois died at her home in Frenchtown at 8:00 Tuesday morning, after having been afflicted with heart trouble for three or four years and ill in bed for about a week.

Deceased was born in Kaukauna Nov 21, 1855, and came to Oconto about thirty-five years ago. August 6, 1876 she was married in this city to Louis Courtois.

She is survived by her husband and eight children Joseph, Louise, Mrs. Joseph Seibert, Alex, Grace, Benlah, Ruth and Gregory, all of Oconto and all of whom were at her bedside at the time of her death except Alex, who was at Bay Denmark Noquet but who arrived here for the funeral which will be held from St. Peter’s church at 9:00 tomorrow morning, Rev. Pele officiating, with internment in the Catholic Cemetery. Two brothers, William and Richard Gravelle, of Ford River, Mich. and a sister Mrs. George Derricks, of Kaukauna were also here for the funeral.
