Peter Courchaine aka Pierre Courchesne, died Sunday, June 11, 1916 (age 94 years). Peter was born December 22, 1822, in St. Francois du Lac, Canada. His parents were Pierre Courchesne and Catherine Joyal.

Peter was one of the oldest residents of Oconto County in the town of Little River. He resided in Oconto County since he was 15 or 16 years of age.

He leaves three children, Mrs Joseph Laramie of Little River, Mrs Alex Warrington of Keshena and Mike Courchaine of Lena. Two brothers, Joseph of Appleton and Francois, residing in Canada. Burial at Lena, Wisconsin.
