Mrs. Pandora "Penny" McKendry, 85, 911 Main Street, Oconto left to join her husband and family Wed. morning, March 1, 2000 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Penny was born April 30, 1914 at Oconto, the daughter of the late William and Jenny (Rugg) Baldwin. Penny married Lloyd McKendry in 1944 at Oconto. He preceded her in death in 1954. Penny's smile will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her, especially her daughter Pat, special friend Sue, and Sue's parents, Arletta and Don Brazeau. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Oconto.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat McKendry of Green Bay; her dog Buckie, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Penny was further preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Waiter, and four sisters, Charlotte "Lotty" Rhoades, Violet McFadden, Grace Follett, and Lucille Fumelle.
Relatives and friends were received at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago Street, and Oconto from 4 until 7 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2000. Service of Christian Burial was at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Clarke officiated.
