Oscar Schilder Wiedemier, 82, of Crivitz died Friday, March 2, 2001 at Rennes Health Center-East, Peshtigo.

The son of the late Albert and Mary (Schilder) Wiedemeier was born January 14, 1919 in Marinette. He was married to the former Marie Bogdanova on February 3, 1951. He was a carpenter most of his life and the last 15 years of his employment he was involved in log home construction. His wife preceded him in death on December 22, 1997.

Surviving are six children; Nancy Tacy of Chelsea, MI; Walter Wiedemeier of Sacramento, CA; Francis Wiedemeier of Crivitz; Sophie Bickel of Coleman; Cece (Ed) Plucker of Crivitz and Teresa Casiana of Winneconne; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by four brothers; Fred, Charles, Henry, and Arthur; one sister, Cecelia Schwartz, and a granddaughter, Nicole Plucker in 1998.

Friends called at St. Mary Catholic Church, Crivitz from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 5. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday at 6 p.m. at the church with Rev. Donald Burkart officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Crivitz. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Crivitz assisted the family with arrangements.
