OTTO SCHACHT, VETERAN, DIES  
Carlson-Aiguire Legion Post in Charge of Services Monday  

Otto Schacht, 42, well known ex-service man of the town of Peshtigo, died at 5:30 Friday afternoon at the family home. A complication of diseases caused death after an illness of a month.

Mr. Schacht was born in Marinette March 29, 1896, and for many years was a farmer. For a time he served as an instructor in a civilian conservation corps camp. Surviving are his mother and the following brothers and sisters.

Paul of Hales Corners, Edwin, Alfred, August and Robert at home. Miss Elsie Schacht of Oakland, Cali. Mrs. Charles Heiwig of San Francisco, Mrs. Frank Kress of Green Bay, Mrs. John Price and Miss Florence Schacht of Peshtigo.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock Monday after noon at the Harper chapel, The Rev. Kurt Geyer officiating. The remains will be placed in the mausoleum at Forest Home cemetery, Marinette. The Carlson-Aiguire post of the American Legion will be in charge of military services.
