O. M. Saunders Dies At 'Falls'
Former Mayor Passes Away On Christmas Day
Oconto Falls, Wis. - O. M. Saunders, 73, former alderman and mayor of Oconto Falls, died at his home here Christmas afternoon after an illness of two months. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 Saturday afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock in the Methodist church, with the Rev. E. W. Barnlund officiating.

Oconto Falls - The Methodist Episcopal church was filled to capacity Saturday afternoon as friends, neighbors and former associates of the Late Orin M. Saunders gathered to pay their last respects to a good man. A beautiful array of floral tributes spoke mutely of the high regard in which the deceased man was held. The many flowers were in charge of a large committee of ladies, all members of the Order of the Eatern Star. Mrs. A.W. Barnlund presided at the organ, and at the beginning of the services, Mrs. Chas. Raymond sand "Sunset and Evening Star." Rev. Barhlund read an appropriate scripture selection, and after a brief discourse, turned the service over to the Masonic Lodge. Wm. Chesley and A.L. Goodell took charge and the beautiful funeral ritual of the order was given. Active pall bearers were A.J. Peterson, W.J. Munsert, D.J. Mc Ilree, M.J. Boldt, P.H. Sharp and Ralph Elver. Honorary pall bearers were Aaron Lipschutz, Wm. Lemorande, Emmett Johnson, Frank Trudell, A.B. Metzler, J.J. Flatley, James R. Volk, A.W. Johnson and Wm Wittmann. The services were concluded at Woodlawn Cemetery with the graveside service of the Masons. Mrs. H.M. Weed of Watersmeet, Myles Graney, of Chippewa Falls, Jerome Grandy of Wisconsin Rapids, Miss Melva Graney of Washington, D.C., and the Chas. Wison family of Milwaukee were among the out of town folks at the rites.
