Olga H. Gohr, 95, of Krakow, died Thursday morning, March 2, 2000.

She was born November 17, 1904 in Delmont, South Dakota to Christ and Martha (Schaefer) Joachim. She grew up in South Dakota and as a young lady moved to Sioux City, Iowa where she met her husband at a church function.

On November 17, 1930 she married George E. Gohr in Delmont. Because of George's work with the railroad, the family divided their time between Iowa and Wisconsin. Eventually they moved to the Town of Morgan where they owned and operated a farm. Following retirement, they moved to the City of Oconto Falls. Olga was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Morgan where, when she was able, was a very active member in the Women of the Church.

Survivors are one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin and Pat Gohr, Krakow; one daughter, Helen Gohr, Krakow; five grandchildren; one sister, Gertrude Hahler, Wecota, SD; two brothers, Ben (Audrey) Joachim, Watertown, SD, Paul (Lena) Joachim, Klamath Falls, OR; two sisters-in-law, Doris Joachim, New Market, IA; Shirley Joachim, Corona, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Gohr, on December 1, 1985, a granddaughter, Debra Lynn, two sisters, Alma and Bertha, two brothers, Waiter and H. Victor Joachim, and one sister-in-law, Mary Joachim.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Funeral service was conducted 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in the Town of Morgan, with the Rev. Paul Heykes officiating. Burial in the Town of Morgan Cemetery.
