Orval was born October 22, 1919 at Little Suamico to the late Joseph and Ella (Christensen) Gauthier. He operated a dairy farm in the Town of Lt. Suamico all of his life. He was a lifetime member of St. Pius Catholic Church, Little Suamico.
Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Gauthier, Lt. Suamico; a niece, Ann (Gary) Bieda, Green Bay; several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Mabel Coopman.
Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto where a parish, wake service was held. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Pius Catholic Church, Lt. Suamico, with Rev. Gary J. Dantinne officiating. Burial was at Riverside Cemetery, Lt. Suamico.
