The Angel's Mass was sung for the year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Peterson in the St. Augustine Chapel of the local Catholic Church by the Rev. Francis Melchiors on Tuesday morning. The baby, Ovi Gene, had been ill for a week with membranous croup and died Sunday at the home of his grandparents, Mrs. And Mrs. Jos. Skochpol of Lena.

Burial took place in the Catholic Cemetery here, honorary pallbearers being Gilbert and Ray Coisman, Victor Peterson and Leonard Johnson. The child was born in Oconto Falls on January 20th. 1935. Besides the sorrowing parents, two brothers, Ronald and Donald, survive. Two sets of grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Skochpol also survive.
