Oscar Asa Weller, 65, Tucson, AZ, formerly of Mountain, WI died unexpectedly, Saturday, March 3, 2001 at home.

Oscar was born November 6, 1935 in Pound, WI to the late Asa and Anna (Lindholm) Weller. He married Alice Stubbs on December 4, 1954. He had been employed 19 years with Sweeny Brothers. He later operated Weller Construction for some time and owned and operated Green Lake Tap in Mountain for almost 20 years, until his retirement in July, 1999, when he moved to Tucson, AZ.

Oscar enjoyed all of his customers at Green Lake Tap and especially liked to tell jokes. He was an animal lover and had raised Dobermans and Schnauzers for many years. While living in Mountain, he enjoyed deer hunting for many years. He enjoyed living in Tucson where he had some very special cats and dogs.

Survivors are his ex-wife Alice, Mountain; his four children and their spouses; Vickie (Gary) Johnson, Mountain; Cindy (Earl) Uhl, Oconto; Brian (Barb) Weller, West Allis; and Douglas (Deborah) Weller, Mountain; brothers Albert (Carol) Heinrichs, Freedom; Gerald Weller, Houston, TX; Dean Weller, Sun Prairie, WI; Martin (Violet) Weller, Deer Park, MN; sisters Darlene Klausen, Menominee, MI: Elsie (Glen) Kruse, Spring Green, WI; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and a very special friend, Jacqueline Josephs, Tucson, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Asa and Anna; brothers Cecil, Robert, Herbert, Lee and Edward; sisters Bernice and Christine. Oscar will be sadly missed by his family and friends. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m., on June 9, at the Mountain Cemetery. A reception will follow at Green Lake Tap, Mountain.

Desert Rose Crematory and Burial in Tucson assisted the family. Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto also assisted the family.
