Born April 8, 1913 in White Lake to the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Josephine Jagla) Zitske, he married the former Esther Larsen on Sept. 3, 1939. The couple lived and worked in Milwaukee until his retirement in 1975 when they moved to Mountain. He was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Genevieve) Moschetz of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Dom (Mary Helen) Morreolle of Milwaukee; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd and Albert, Jr.; and a sister, Norma.
Visitation will be held at Tabor Lutheran Church in Mountain on Thursday, May 24 beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. with Pastor Paul Scheuneman officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home of Suring is in charge of arrangements.
