Funeral rites will be held Saturday morning at St. Anthony's Catholic church for Mrs. Byron P. McDougal. The Rev. Francis Francart will officiate at the requiem mass. Burial will take place in the Catholic cemetery. The American Legion auxiliary will hold a memorial service at the O'Neill Funeral home this evening, and the Altar society and Father Francart will say the rosary at 8 pm.

Mrs. McDougal, who was the Press-Gazette correspondent in Oconto Falls some 20 years, died suddenly at the local hospital Thursday morning, a few minutes after she had suffered a heart attack. She had undergone surgical treatment, but was recovering steadily and was planning to go home in a day or two.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Glen, Oconto Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Schlosser of Oconto Falls, Mrs. Erwin Krause of Coleman, and Mrs. Margaret Ann, D.P. Dolato, Lena; 16 grandchildren, four sisters and one brother, Dan Skahen of Chilton. The sisters are, Nellie, Mrs. R.P. Riordan of Milwaukee, Madge, Mrs. E.J. King of Kaukauna, Evelyn, Mrs. Harvey Hodgins of Gillett, and Etta, Mrs. Frank King of Chilton. A son, Lt. Floyd of the US ORC, died at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, twelve years ago.

Mrs. McDougal who was born Nora Skahen at Chilton on November 4, 1884. She was married to Byron P. McDougal on September 3, 1907.
