MRS NELLIE GRANT DIES OF INJURIES
INCURRED RECENTLY

Injuries sustained in an auto accident on December 1proved fatal to Mrs. Nellie Grant, 62, who died in St. Vincent's hospital, Green Bay, Friday, December 13, at 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Grant, with friends, had left church and they were on their way to a duck dinner. The car in which she was riding left the pavement and dropped down a fourteen foot embankment. Mrs. Grant received a broken leg and a fractured hip. Embolism was given as the cause of death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Joseph's church with the Rev. L. C. Becker officating. Interment was made in the Evergreen cemetery.

Nellie Slattery was born in Canada, August 4, 1857. She married Dr. J. C. Grant 32 years ago in Appleton, who precluded her in death twenty years ago.

Mrs. Grant is well known in this city, having made her home for a number of years. She was chairman of the Welfare committee and also held the position of president of the Catholic Woman's club in this city.

Her survivors are three sons, Dr. Lee O. Grant, Grand Rapids, Mich.; Howard Grant, Bellingham, Wash.; and George Grant, Bloomington, Ind.; one daughter, Mrs. Earl Lillydahl of Milwaukee; a grandchild, William Lee Grant and three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Brownson, Spokane, Wash.; Mrs. Margraret Counselman, Cedro Wooley Wash.; and Mrs. W. F. Judd, Dowagaic, Mich.

The pallbearers were Dr. C.E. Armstrong, William VanGaal, FrancisDoyke, Charles Davis and John Noonan.
