He was born on September 26, 1939 in Green Bay to Louis and Jeanette (Speerschnieder) Baenen. He worked as a drywaller for many years. Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Peter) Halaska, Hartford; two sons Brian Baenen, Pound, and James Baenen, St. Francis, WI; three grandchildren Brandon, Hartford; Barbara and Tammy, New Holstein; his mother, Jeanette Baenen, Pound; five brothers and three sisters, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Louis.
Friends may call at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, March 7. Memorial service 6 p.m. at the Funeral Home Thursday with Father John Hephner officiating.
