Mrs. Nell Topel, 83, of Pensaukee, died at midnight Wednesday at the Oconto
Convalescent Home. She had been ill for 3 1/2 years.
The former Nell Livermore, she was born at Pensaukee, Nov. 29, 1872 and was a lifelong resident of the community. Her husband, Fred, died in 1946.
Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home Friday afternoon. The last rites will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. Justin Torgrimson, and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery.
Mrs. Topel is survived by two daughters, Mrs. George Windross, Pensaukee, and Mrs. Ed. Mercier, Green Bay; two sons, Fred and Howard, Pensaukee; three brothers, Howard and Herb Livermore, Pensaukee, and Charles, Green Bay; two sisters, Mrs, Ed Seger, Rapid River, Mich., and Mrs. Pink Laduron, Brookside; 13 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.
HOLD RITES SATURDAY FOR MRS. TOPEL, 83
OCONTO, Wis. Funeral rites for Mrs. Nell Topel, 83, were conducted by the Rev. Justin Torgrimson Saturday afternoon at the Gallagher Funeral Home. Mrs. Topel, lifelong resident of Pensaukee, died at a convalescent home here Wednesday.
Pallbearers were Russell and Fred Topel, Beryl Windross, Delbert Livermore, Eugene and Ellis Mercier. Burial was in the Brookside Cemetery.
Note: Nell E. LIVERMORE was born in Pensaukee, Wisconsin, 10 Apr. 1893. Oconto VR Vol. 4, pg. 137. Married at Evangelical Lutheran Church by Rev. Eisenbach. Witnesses were, Christian Krischefski and Eva Livermore. Ferdinand's surname spelled Krischefski on marriage record. Ferdinand recorded as born in Windikow, Pomerania, Germany.
Nell was born in
Oak Orchard, Oconto Co., WI., 29 Nov. 1872. Twin of Delbert. Nell was the
daughter of Randall G. LIVERMORE and Marjorie A CORDES. Nell died 15 Mar.
