Norm. E. Exferd, 48, 211 McDonald St. Oconto, died Tuesday at his home. He was born Dec. 16, 1927 in Oconto, was a lifetime resident and marrie d the forrner Lois Atkins Aug. 20, 1949 in Green Bay. Mr. Exferd was employed at Oconto Memorial Hospital.

He was a mernber of the the First Presbyterian Church, and was a trustee of the church, Mr. Exferd was a life Charter member of the Am vets and a Veteran of World War II.

Survivors are his mother. Mrs Herbert Kain, Oconto; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Nancy) Weber, Rt. 3, Lena; Miss Randee Exferd, at home; three sons, Kenneth, Oconto; Donald, Rt. 3, Lena; Richard, at home; one brother, Milton Exferd, Oconto; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Grace) Hardtke, and Mrs. William (Elizabeth) Kane, both of Oconto Falls; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry.
