MARTIN DELZER, 75, OCONTO FALLS, DEAD. 
Old resident of Oconto County Passes Away.  

OCONTO FALLS, Wis., Martin Delzer, 75, resident of Oconto County for 35 years, died at his home here last night after an illness of several months.

Born in Dodge county Aug. 31, 1863, he settled on a farm at Morgan when 20 years old. He retired from farming and moved to Oconto Falls 16 years ago, where he since was employed by the Oconto Falls Canning company. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen and the M. E. church.

Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home and at 2 o'clock at the M. E. church with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Morgan.

Mr. Delzer was married to Mrs. Chris Johnson in 1897 who preceded him in death by a number of years. He later remarried, to Bertha Otto, who survives him. Surviving are three sons, Albert and Rudolph, town of Oconto Falls and William Morgan; two daughters, Mrs. Sidney Shaffer, Green Bay, and Mrs. Alfred Pipgrass, Green Valley; three stepsons, Emmett Johnson Oconto Falls, John Johnson, Oconto Falls; and Chris Johnson, Clintonville; and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Guy Davis, Green Valley. The only child born to his second wife, a son Milton, died 11 years ago.
