.Mrs. Mary Yashinsky [Theophile] Markiewicz, 52, of Lena, died April 4, 1973. She passed away on Wednesday from injuries received in a car pedestrian accident.
The former Mary Yashinsky was born March 24, 1921 in the Town of Spurce and married Theophile Markiewicz Oct. 8, 1941 in Spurce. Afterward, the couple settled on the family farm.
Survivors are her husband; her mother; Mrs Anna Yashinsky, of Lena; two daughters; Joyce and Cynthia at home; five sons; Sgt. Donald, Rapid City, SD; Gerald, of Oconto Falls; Allen of Madison; James and David at home; two brothers, John of DePere; Edward of Lena; four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Soulek Funeral Home, Lena, after 2pm Friday. Parish vigil 7:30 pm Friday. Funeral 10:30 am Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spurce, with Rev. Thomas Mayesefke officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
