SURING – Mollie R. Pethke, age 83, formerly of Gillett died in a Green Bay hospital January 13, 2000 following a short illness. She was born September 7, 1916 in Underhill to the late Herman and Rosa Linda (Vorpahl) Wildt. Mollie married Walter Pethke November 16, 1946 at Christ Lutheran Church in Hintz. She and Walter lived and worked in Milwaukee until her husband preceded her in death August 20, 1979. In 1984 Mollie returned to Gillett and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hwy. H., Gillett.

Survivors include a sister, Lorena Perlick of Suring; three sisters-in-law, Dorothy Pethke of Suring, Hildegard (Kenneth) DeLong of Springhill, Fla, and Mildred Pethke of Suring; a brother-in-law, Harold (Darlene) Pethke of Union Grove, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mollie was preceded in death by her son Curtis W. Pethke in 1978, six brothers, and three sisters.

The funeral was held Monday, January 17 at her church with Deacon Ralph W. Beversdorf officiating. Interment in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
