Marion M. Matheys, 74 of 5818 St. Patrick Rd., Lena, died at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay on Dec. 24, 1992 after a courageous battle with diabetes.
The former Marion Ward was born Aug. 6, 1918 at Stiles and was a lifelong resident of Stiles. She married John Matheys on Nov. 20, 1937 at Oconto. Marion worked at Cruisers for 11 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church at Stiles.
Survivors include her husband John; two daughters Bonnie (George) Brown, Denver, CO; Mary Jane (John) Rosinsky, Michicot; one brother, Leland (Anita) Ward, Mequon; five sisters, Hazel Redlin, Pulaski; Helen Denneau, Louisiana; Margaret (Harold) Cain, Oconto; Jane (Martin) Lade, Oconto; Ivis Wusterbarth, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Frank and a sister Kathleen.
