 Marian Bernice Tappa, 75, 101 First St., Oconto, died Wednesday July 12, 2000 at Riverside Health & Rehabilitation, Oconto.

Marian was born October 22, 1924 in Oconto to the late Alphonse and Ida (Bush) VanVooran. She married Bernard Tappa. He preceded her in death in 1975. Marian worked at Bond Pickle and was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

Marian is survived by one brother, Dean VanVooran, Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Rosemary (Larry) Olick, Dorothy (Francis) Naniot, and one sister-in-law, Irene VanVooran.

The family received relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday, July 14, 2000 at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Peter Site with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating and burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
