She was born February 4, 1911, daughter of the late Jerome and Crescentia (Strohofer) Uitenbroek. On October 18, 1943 Mildred married Adolph Grahammer at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy. The couple moved to Oconto in the 1960s, where Adolph served as Brew Master at the Oconto Brewery and had served as the Oconto Mayor. He preceded her in death on August 4, 1985. Mildred had worked as a secretary at the Oconto Hospital for numerous years.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Kurt (Joanne) Grahammer, Coral Springs, FL; a sister, Marie Plutz, Waupaca; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Olive (in infancy), Eleanor (Alphonse "Nelson") Plutz and Ray Plutz; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph (Mary) Uitenbroek.
A memorial mass was held 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy with Fr. Tom Pomeroy officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Friends called directly at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of services. The Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna assisted the family with arrangements.
