Mrs. Smith would have been 91 years of age in March. She remained active and well, and according to the information, had eaten a good supper the evening before she passed on in her sleep. During the early days of establishing the printing business, Mrs. Smith did much to assist her husband, as much of the work was done by hand in those early days. She was active in women's circles, the church and a member of the Eastern Star for many years. Funeral rites will be held Thursday afternoon at the Wilshire Funeral home in Santa Monica. At this writing, the only known survivors are the daughter, and son-in-law and several nieces.
