Mayme Brumlic, 99, of Peshtigo died peacefully Tuesday September 5, 2000 at Rennes Health Center-East, Peshtigo.

The former Mayme Paitl was born June 19, 1901 at Lena, WI one of seven children born to the Francis and Maria (Piugel) Paitl. She married Edward Brumlic November 16, 1921 in Menominee, MI and he preceded her in death June 13, 1981. They farmed in her early years, but she spent over 60 years at Rennes Health Center.

Surviving are a daughter, Rose Marie McMahon and son-in-law, Arnold McMahon of Lena; one grandson, Dennis McMahon and his wife Debbie of Lena; three great grandchildren, Montgomery Jay of Oshkosh, Mitchell John and Megan Marie of Lena; several nieces and nephews.

The family greeted relatives and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral home, Coleman from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2000,. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. John Shallow officiating. Burial was in the Town of Brazeau Cemetery.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy a memorial fund has been established for Mayme at Rennes Health Center-East.
