Dies Just Before Anniversary.

Mrs Wencil Pawlak, 78, died Thusday June 17, 1971 unexpectedly at her home.

The former Mary Walczak was born in Cleveland, Ohio and came to Wisconsin as a young girl. She married Wencil Pawlak on June21,1909 and the couple would have celebrated their 63nd Wedding Anniversary Monday. After their marriage they settled and farmed the home farm until 15 years ago when they moved to their home at Route 1, Lena.

Survivors besides besides her husband are six daughters daughters, Mrs. Anthony Hendricks, Bonduel, Mrs. William Bouller, Mrs Roy Greason, both of Green Bay, Mrs.Raymond Smukowsk, Mrs Donald Allington, all of Milwaukee; two sons John, Route 1, Lena and Joseph of Grafton; one brother Frank Walczak, Galesburg, Michigan; one sister, Mrs John Sibole of Detroit; twenty-eight grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death. The body lay in state at the Solek Funeral Home in Lena from 2 p.m. Sunday June 20 where the parish vigil was held at 8 p.m. that night. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday June 21 at the Sacard Heart Catholic Church at Spruce with the Rev. Thomas Mayesfke offciating. Burial took place in the church cemetary.
