WIFE OF LATE JUDGE CLASSON IS BURIED
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2:30 from the home of her sister, Mrs. Edna Ross with Donald MacQueen, first reader of the Christian Science society in charge. Burial was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Andrew Couillard, Arthur Matravers, Lloyd Glynn, Marvin Leisch, Kenneth Laird, and Klyde Leigh.
Mrs. Classon was born in Oconto July 25, 1876 and lived here all her life. In 1899 she was married to Judge Classon. Her husband preceded her in death nine months ago and was widely known, not only in this and neighboring counties, but throughout the state, by reason of his outstanding public career. He served as war-time congressman and was later elected to the twentieth judicial circuit but illness prevented him from serving his full term.
Mrs. Classon is survived by five children, Richard, Abigail and Peggy at home, Mary at Valparaiso, Florida, Mrs. Clarence Leigh, Milwaukee; and one sister Mrs. Edna Ross, Oconto.
