HOLD FUNERAL SERVICES FRIDAY FOR MRS. SIGL 1878-1939

OCONTO FALLS, Wis. -- Funeral services for Mrs. W.(olfgang) Sigl, 61, who died suddenly [July 11, 1939] at the home of her mother, Mrs. Alfred LeRoy, here Tuesday evening will be held at 9 o’clock Friday morning at St. John’s Catholic church, Seymour. Burial will take place in the family lot there.

Mrs. Sigl was the former Mayme Meyer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Meyer and was born Aug. 24, 1878 at Menominee, Mich. She lived with her husband on a farm in Seymour until his death 18 years ago and later had been employed at the Oconto Company farm. She is well known in this city, having visited here on several different occasions.

Besides her mother, she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Harry Stammer, Seymour; four brothers: John, Oconto Falls; George, Oregon; Jacob, Abbotsford, and Frank, Antigo.

The body will be taken this afternoon from the Bateman funeral home to a Seymour funeral home, where it will remain until the funeral tomorrow.
