Mrs. Mae Lorang, 65, Succumbs at Oconto  
 

OCONTO, Wis. - Mrs. Mae Lorang, Oconto, died at the Oconto hospital Monday morning of heart disease. She would have been 66 years old on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning at St. Joseph’s church with the burial in the Catholic cemetery.

Mrs. Lorang was born at Oconto June 19, 1874. Survivors are two sons, Stanley, Flint, Mich., and Frank, Fenton, Mich.,; one daughter, Mrs. Lewis Smith, Oconto; one sister, Mrs. William Merline, Oconto; and four brothers, Joseph Marek, Milwaukee; John and Louis, Oconto, and William, Iron Mountain. There are also five grandchildren. The body will remain at the Gagno Funeral home.

MRS. MAE MERAK LORANG, 66, BURIED WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Mae Lorang, 66, a lifelong resident of Oconto, passed away at the Oconto hospital Monday morning following an operation. She had been ill for the past two months. Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at nine o’clock from the St. Joseph’s Catholic church with Rev. Byron Belongia officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. Pallbearers were Peter McGovern, Clarence Davis, Henry Swiedarke, John Dagen, Robert Morris and Antone Merline. The Gagnon Funeral home was in charge of funeral arrangements.

The deceased was born Mae Marek, June 19, 1874 in Oconto and lived here all her life. She was married 46 years ago to Frank Lorang, who proceded her in death many years ago. She is survived by two sons, Stanley J., Flint, Mich., and Fran, Fenton, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Lewis Smith, Oconto; one sister, Mrs. William Merline , Oconto; four brothers, Joseph, Milwaukee; John and Louis, Oconto, and William, Iron Mountain, Mich., and five grandchildren.
