Marvin LeMay Obituary

 

Marvin LeMay, 70, of Oconto, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. Marv was born May 31, 1939 in Oconto to the late Dave and Ruth (Jarvey) LeMay. Marv worked for Interlake Steam Ship as a Second Assistant Engineer for 32 years. Marv was a Shriner for many years and was \"Buttons the Clown\" at many Shrine events. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. Marv was a Member of the Beja Shrine and a past member of the Oconto Masonic Pine Lodge.

Marv is survived by two daughters Cynde (Paul) Phillips, Elk Grove Village, IL; Tracey Bostedt, Oconto; four sons Scott (Sharon) LeMay, IL; Dave (Robin) LeMay, AK; Randy (Janice) LeMay, Pulaski; Adam Bostedt, Oconto; two sisters Mary (John) Stellmacher, Oconto; Ruth Thompson, Oconto; 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sisters June Brown, Elaine Pruess, and two brothers Donald and Jim LeMay.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with Deacon Walter Kaszynski officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery Thursday, March 25 at 10 AM.
