Mrs. Mabel M. Drolette, 91, 3288 Drolette Road, Pensaukee, died Monday
afternoon, August 13, 1999 at Riverside Health and Rehabilitation Center,
Oconto. The former Mabel Beaucock was born August 11, 1908 in the town of
Pensaukee to the late Alvin and Edith Beaucock. On October 16, 1929 Mabel
was united in marriage to Wilbur Drolette at St. Peter Catholic Church,
Oconto. The couple owned and operated the Modernistic Bar at Pensaukee for
many years. Her husband preceded her in death October 29, 1970. Mabel was
a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto.
Surviving are a son Don, Pensaukee; four sisters, Ruth Wolverton, Davenport IA; Myrtle
Anderson, Coolidge, AZ; Bernice Weyenberg, New London; Hazel (Robert)
Krueger, Oconto. Mabel was further preceded in death by two brothers,
Clifford and Leonard, and a sister Alice Winans. Family and friends called
at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Peter Site, Oconto, Wednesday August 25, 1999.
Mass of Resurrection Wednesday at the Church. The Rev. Fr. David Ruby
officiated. Interment at Oconto Catholic Cemetery. Rhodes-Charapata
Funeral Home, Oconto in charge of arrangements.
