Margaret Ann Dolata, 79, Oconto, died Sunday, October 10, 1999 at her home with her family at her side.
She was born to the late Byron and Nora (Skahen) McDougal, July 22, 1920 in Oconto Falls. The former Margaret Ann McDougal married Dominic Dolata, Oct. 26, 1940 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Oconto Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1993. Margaret was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena as well as the church Alter Society. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing scrabble and sheepshead, and enjoyed spending her time with her many grandchildren.
Surviving are seven children, Mary Dolata, Milwaukee; Bonnie (Jim) Zipperer, Richland, WA; Linda (Bob) Kinziger, Brussels; Peggy (Mitchell) Arndt, Green Bay; Joe (Deb) and Tim (Kathy) Dolata both Green Bay; Germaine Dolata, Neenah; special granddaughter Amber; 23 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Vi McDougal, Oconto Falls; Gen Dolata, Milwaukee. Also survived by nieces nephews, special neighbors and friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by one son, Paul and two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena, Wednesday, Oct. 13,1999 from 3-6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass at 6:00 p.m. at the church with Fr. Frank Schrage officiating. Internment at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Town of Lena. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home is assisting the family.
