She was born April 11, 1920, in the Township of Rabbit Lake (Crow Wing County), MN, to the late Ole B. and Minnie (Anderson) Monson. On October 21, 1939, Mildred married Sidney George Hanson, in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death March 15, 1967. In 1969, she married Doane Bubb in Oconto Falls. He preceded her in death September 22, 1994.
Mildred is survived by her children and their spouses: Arlene and Dwaine Roberts, Milwaukee; Sharon and Danny Jackson, Altamont, IL; Sidney and Mary Hanson, Eau Claire; Thom and Jean Hanson, San Antonio, TX; Rich Hanson, Milwaukee; two brothers, Carl Monson, Dale and Marjorie Monson, all of Brainard, MN; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one stepson, Wayne Bubb, St. Paul, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2000, at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. There were no funeral services. Inurnment in Lincoln Cemetery, Milwaukee.
Mildred will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
