Marvin "Marv" "Marvelous Marv" Braun, 79, Green Bay, went home to be with
his Lord on Wednesday, May, 13, 2009. He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Wabeno,
to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Braun. Marv served in the U.S. Navy during the
Korean War. For many years, he worked for the U.S. Postal Service, retiring
in 1995. Marv loved traveling and spending time with his family. He was a
devoted husband, father, stepfather and grandfather.
Marv had a great sense of humor, loved to laugh and told a lot of clean
jokes. He was a popular friend to many and was known for his exceptional
wisdom.
Survivors include his wife and best friend, Barbara "Babs"; his children,
Daniel Braun, Brien Brisson, Rev. Brad Brisson, Blayne Brisson, Babbette
Tummanni, Brigid Stump, Brett Brisson; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews,
cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly; his parents; one son,
David; seven siblings; and one grandson, Timothy.
According to the family's wishes, no services will be held.
The family extends their thanks to Dr. Paul Schmitz and the staff of St.
Vincent Hospital.
