  Lucy Lindsey, age 83 years, died Feb. 11, 1887, at the residence of Thos Milledge.

  Mrs. Lindsay had been an invalid for many years, and was fully prepared to go to that heavenly "bourned from which none ever return." Her life had always been one filled with Christian piety, and in death she remained steadfast.  She was the mother of Mrs. Thos. Milledge, Mrs. Chas. Hall, Mrs. Chas. Pendelton and Mr. Jeff Lindsey, of this city, and Mrs. Paulson (Colson), of Mill Center.

The funeral occured Sunday afternoon, and remains were followed to their last resting place by a large number of friends and relatives.
