Mrs. Mary Ann (Leigh) Allan 82 widow of the late Dr. Hamilton Allan, first chief surgeon at the Northern Pacific hospital, died last night in a local hospital. Her home was in San Diego but she had been staying in Tacoma at 401 North Yakima avenue for some time . She was a member of the Immanuel Presbyterian church here. Surviving are a granddaughter, Margaret Allan, and grandson Leigh Allan of Modesto Cal. Mellinger will make the funeral announcement.

The following is an obituary of my G-Grandmother. She was born in Oconto County on December 20, 1855, the daughter of the Honorable Judge John Leigh and Esther Durgan Leigh.
